Broadband Beyond Borders is being lead by a group here in the 4 States Area for the hope to get the attention of "Google", the search engine company, to bring high speed fiber (1 gigabit per second, fiber-to-the-home connection) Internet to an area for free. Broadband Beyond Borders has taken on the task to organize the 4 States Area for bringing attention to Google that we're interested in being selected for Free high speed fiber testing.

Our Heartland Giga-Region Initiative includes defined metropolitan and metropolitan areas, towns, villages and rural residents across 6 counties in 3 states. The diversity of our Region also includes 9 Native American tribes. When 280,000 people in 9 sovereign nations, 6-counties and 3 states are connected by giga-bit Internet service, it truly is Broadband Beyond Borders.

New look for the site

I've been working on skinning of the new website. It really easy to find so many colors to choose from that you could go crazy before you finish picking a combination. I took a picture some time ago with a Fuji camera while we were driving down 32^nd street here in Joplin, MO. The banner at the top is that photo at 32^nd and Main. I still need to make changes to the banner with a current logo rather than the text that is there now.

Lets see if we can get this year right. Less war, Less fighting amoung friends and more kindness needed.

Good afternoon everyone. It's been some time since I updated the site so I thought I'd better make some changes to the site so you could tell were still around. I'm not hosting or building web sites anymore. But i will say that doing so was quite fun. I'm trying out a new content management system to make this site. In the hopes that i can learn more about Microsoft SQL. That is the foundation for this CMS.

I'll be updating this site with various things but mainly it will be family orientated, so take a look around (after i post things) and enjoy.
